can relate to while also giving people from other cultures an opportunity to connect to our tales as well.
The term BIPOC will be found many times on this website as the term acknowledges that not all people of color face equal levels of injustice. BIPOC is significant in recognizing that Black and Indigenous people are severely impacted by systemic racial injustices.
Racism and a lack of representation of BIPOC peoples are quite prevalent in Anime/Otaku culture which is unfortunate as there are countless fans of color that love Anime/Cosplay/Weebdom yet aren't fully embraced & never see themselves represented in it.
Spicy Anime is creating a safe space to bridge the gap between communities & provide the level of education, love, and understanding needed to have these difficult conversations that are necessary to build common ground and progress towards a future of inclusion.
The Spicy Anime Flames are a family of BIPOC Husbandos, Waifus, & Our Allies that wanna see inclusion and equality in our anime/otaku/gamer community! We hangout, have fun, argue about our favorite OP characters, and just spread positive vibes, love, and energy!
